Grand Rapids MN Real Estate | Good Waterfront Values
When I run into people out and about the first thing they ask is how is the market? I used to have a standard response. Now days it is not that easy. As a whole the market is decent and increasing. However we are still a bit on the unstable side and little things can effect it. Lately that small thing has been the weather. With temps 20 degrees below the norm and above normal rain buyers are not out in force. After that it is dependent on what market we are speaking of. We have seen the residential market show strength in the last year. The recreational market is ok but still a bit sluggish. (By the way within that market there are some decent deals on waterfront listings) last the building lot market is the slowest of the bunch but has shown some growth in the last few months. So the standard how is the Grand Rapids MN Real estate market question gets a non-standard answer.
Waterfront Pokegama Home Values
As I said see some good values on lakeshore now. I have seen some Pokegama homes sell this spring in the 300k range. The in town market 200k and under is moving well. The out of town market with a few acres is moving well up to about 250k. The rest is still moving but at a slower pace. As I said the lots are lagging a bit but I have seen some sales and waterfront lots have dropped so now may be the time to buy. I think of a few of our listings. We have waterfront lots as low as $29900.00 Granted that is not prime sugar sand lakeshore but a lake lot for the price of a city lot!
