Grand Rapids Real Estate Market Report
Summer is here! As temps warm up here in Minnesota, we are seeing more traffic out and about in our Grand Rapids Real Estate market. Our office has a total of 31 listings and the showing calls are starting to come in again. I have a few buyers I am working with and I am sensing a little more urgency in their showings. I will say we still have some great buying opportunities out their! I am seeing lake homes and Lake cabins at prices I have not seen since the early 2000’s. The hot market is still primary residential under $250,000.00 . What I don’t think a lot of these buyers know is you can now buy a lake home for that amount. Maybe not on Pokegama Lake or Deer Lake or Wabana, but a decent lake home. I listed a great rambler that was just updated with three bedrooms and 5 garage stalls and 2+ acres of land on a decent lake for 239,900.00 That home could have a finished walk out basement . 6 years ago it would have been 300k+. The new trend seems to be 5-10 acres out of town but close (less than 10 miles) with semi modern finishes and some storage. I see the demand for this type of home as quite high. In the Grand Rapids Real Estate market these seem to be selling from 140-250K depending on the size and features. Last land and lake lots. This market continues to be a bit sluggish. I have lake lots from 29,900.00 up to 499,990.00 So if this is what you are looking for, I would say this is a buyers market for sure. As per building lots , they are about the same . Raw land should start seeing some interest as summer progresses. Make sure to call us if we can help you buy or sell!
